The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) oversees
the operation of motor vehicles in Virginia. DMV services
include driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations,
handicapped parking privileges, and photo identification for
non-drivers. DMV offices are listed below.
The Loudoun County Commissioner of the Revenue also offers
selected DMV services at the commissioner's offices in
Leesburg and Sterling.

2008 Vehicle
Decals
New blue 2008 decals went on
sale July 1, 2007, and are to be displayed by
November 15, 2007. All past
due taxes must be paid in full before a decal can be
purchased. Please call 703-777-0280 to determine the
total amount now due or utilize our
Search & Pay
option to determine any amounts owed. Payments
received will automatically be applied to delinquent
taxes first. |
All county residents, living outside an incorporated town,
are required to display a County Vehicle License Decal on
their automobile or motorcycle within 60 days of moving into
the county. These decal fees are billed
with personal property taxes, and are due to be paid by
October 5 to the County
Treasurer. New decals should be displayed on
vehicles prior to November 16 of each year. New residents or
current residents purchasing new vehicles should contact the Commissioner
of the Revenue’s Office immediately to register
their vehicles. Loudoun County residents who live within the
boundaries of an incorporated town should contact their
respective town office to purchase vehicle license decals.
