The goal of the Loudoun Valleys
Initiative is to strengthen the economy of rural western
Loudoun through development of the highest value of
agriculture and rural enterprise. The Initiative
hopes to link the traditional, market-driven agriculture
economic base with the related industries of
biotechnology, tourism and rural business. The
Rural Economic Development Plan aims to implement the
Initiative.
